Birch plywood boxes and a squared-edge shaker door in a deep matte black, built for kitchens that want contrast without ornamentation.
Bayview Black Shaker cabinets use 1/2" birch plywood boxes with a natural birch interior and solid birch face frame. The door is a solid wood frame with an MDF center panel, finished in a flat matte black with a full overlay fit. Drawers are 5/8" rubberwood with dovetail joinery, and shelves are 3/4" plywood, adjustable, with half-depth shelving in base cabinets.
Doors are assembled with a solid wood shaker frame around a squared MDF panel, giving the flat, clean profile its stability without warping. Drawer boxes are dovetailed rubberwood on soft-close, full-extension undermount glides, and doors run on soft-close concealed hinges with 6-way adjustment for fitting during installation.

Drawer boxes are built from 5/8" solid rubberwood with dovetail joints at each corner.
Dovetail joinery locks the drawer sides together mechanically, so the box holds its shape under load without relying on glue or fasteners alone.
Soft-Close Hardware Throughout
Both door hinges and drawer glides are soft-close, with concealed 6-way adjustable hinges and full-extension undermount glides.
6-way adjustment lets installers true up door alignment across a full run of cabinets, and the soft-close mechanism protects the finish from slam damage over years of use.
Birch Plywood Box Construction
Cabinet boxes are 1/2" birch plywood with a natural birch interior, solid birch face frame, and no particle board anywhere in the build.
Plywood resists the swelling and screw-pull-out that particle board is prone to, particularly at hinge and glide mounting points.
Squared Shaker Door in Matte Black
A solid wood shaker frame surrounds an MDF center panel, finished in a flat matte black with full overlay construction.
The MDF panel stays flat under the finish where a solid wood panel might telegraph seasonal movement, keeping the squared shaker lines crisp.
