A solid Baltic birch shaker door in a cool grey, built on a plywood box with dovetail drawers.
Dolphin Grey Shaker pairs a squared-edge shaker door with a soft, neutral grey finish that works across traditional and contemporary layouts. The door frame is solid Baltic birch around an MDF center panel, mounted on a 1/2" birch plywood box with a solid Baltic birch face frame. No particle board is used anywhere in the construction.
Drawers are hardwood dovetail construction with a 3/8" birch plywood bottom, running on soft-close full-extension undermount glides. Doors close on soft-close, concealed, 6-way adjustable hinges, and shelves are 3/4" birch plywood with a moisture-resistant wood veneer that can be repositioned as storage needs change.

Solid Baltic Birch Door Frame
The shaker door frame is solid Baltic birch surrounding an MDF center panel, with squared edges and a full overlay fit.
Solid wood at the frame keeps the door stable at the hinge and screw points, where plywood or MDF alone would wear faster.
Dovetail Drawer Boxes
Drawers are built from 5/8" hardwood with dovetail joinery and a 3/8" birch plywood bottom.
Dovetail joints interlock the drawer sides mechanically, so the box holds together under load without relying on glue or fasteners alone.
Soft-Close Hardware Throughout
Doors use soft-close, concealed, 6-way adjustable hinges; drawers run on soft-close undermount full-extension glides.
6-way adjustability lets doors be aligned precisely after install, and the soft-close mechanism reduces wear on the hinge and box over years of use.
No Particle Board Construction
The box, face frame, shelves, and drawers are built from birch plywood and solid Baltic birch rather than particle board.
Plywood and solid birch resist moisture and hold screws better than particle board, which matters most at drawer glides and hinge points.
