Slim White Shaker
A narrower shaker rail on a birch plywood box, built with dovetail drawers and soft-close hardware.
The box is 1/2" birch plywood with a natural birch interior and color-matched sides, joined to a solid birch face frame. Doors use an MDF frame and panel in a slim shaker profile with full overlay, giving a tighter, more streamlined rail width than a standard shaker door.
Drawers are 5/8" rubberwood with dovetail joinery, running on soft-close undermount full-extension glides. Doors hang on soft-close, concealed, 6-way adjustable hinges, and shelves are 3/4" plywood, adjustable, with half depth in the base cabinets.

The tighter rail proportions come from precise MDF milling, giving a more streamlined line without changing the underlying full-overlay door structure.
Dovetail Drawer Boxes
Drawer boxes are built from 5/8" rubberwood with dovetail joints at the corners.
Dovetail joinery interlocks the drawer sides mechanically, so the box resists racking and separation under repeated use better than glued or stapled butt joints.
Soft-Close Hardware Throughout
Doors use concealed, 6-way adjustable soft-close hinges; drawers run on soft-close undermount full-extension glides.
6-way adjustability lets each door be aligned precisely after installation, and the soft-close mechanisms reduce wear on the hinge and glide over years of daily use.
Plywood Box with Birch Face Frame
The cabinet box is 1/2" birch plywood with a 3/4" x 1-1/2" solid birch face frame and color-matched exterior sides.
Plywood construction holds screws and hardware more securely than particle board, and the solid birch face frame gives the front of the box a rigid mounting surface for doors and drawers.
