True Black Gloss
A frameless flat-panel door with a high-gloss black finish, built on a plywood box with no particle board.
True Black Gloss is a frameless (Euro-style) cabinet with a flat MDF panel door finished in a glossy black lacquer. The box is 3/4" plywood sides and bottom with a 1/4" MDF back reinforced by a 3/4" plywood frame, and the interior is finished in white melamine. Toe kicks are sold separately since this frameless style has no integral kick.
Doors are built from an MDF frame and flat panel, chosen for its smooth, glass-like surface under the glossy finish rather than solid wood's grain. Drawer boxes use a grey metal slim box with 5/8" plywood panels running on soft-close, full-extension undermount glides, and doors close on concealed 6-way adjustable soft-close hinges.

The cabinet box is built without a face frame, giving full access to the interior and a clean, uninterrupted look on full-overlay doors.
Frameless construction relies on precise plywood box joinery since there's no face frame to hide gaps, so panel alignment has to be tight from the start.
Soft-Close Concealed Hinges
Doors mount on concealed, 6-way adjustable hinges with a soft-close mechanism that slows the door in the final inches of travel.
6-way adjustability lets each door be fine-tuned after install so gaps stay even across a run of glossy panels, where any misalignment is easy to see.
Full-Extension Undermount Drawer Glides
Drawer boxes ride on soft-close, full-extension undermount glides, hidden beneath the drawer rather than mounted on the sides.
Undermount hardware keeps the drawer box's grey metal sides visible and clean, and full extension means the whole drawer clears the cabinet for access to the back.
Plywood Box with No Particle Board
The cabinet box uses 3/4" plywood for the sides, bottom, and internal frame, with a 1/4" MDF back panel.
Plywood resists sagging and holds screws better than particle board over the life of the cabinet, particularly at hinge and glide mounting points.
